He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret A. "Maggie" Gage; his brothers, Dick Marsh and Don Marsh; and his sister-in-law Chris Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Nancy of Mason City; his daughters, Mindy Ray (Dan) of Faribault, MN and Molly Marsh of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Ellie Ray, Tim Ray, Leah Ray, Hannah Ray (Patrick Malnaa) and Claire Ray; his sister Pat Fluhrer (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Marsh, Ada Grosland (Ron), Jane Taylor (Nik), Pete Gage (Debra), Jim Gage (Kathy) and Philip Hines (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
During COVID, Dennis applied his craftsmanship to pie-making, making apple, coconut cream, and triple berry pies with lattice crusts.
