She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Berneman and Margaret "Peggy" Berneman (Moore); her brothers, Bill and Dale Berneman; her nephew Michael Carpenter; her great-nephew Hunter True; and her pets, Winston and Ace.
She is survived by: her sisters, Debra Tuttle (Robert) and Cathy Rogers (Dale); her sister-in-law Patsy Berneman; and her siblings' children, Shawn Rockwell, Jason Rockwell (Dana), Karen (Berneman), England (Chris) and Hilary True-Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Gray Warriors, in care of the family, an organization which provides support to individuals with brain tumors.
