He was predeceased by: his wife Marcile Kofoot; and his son Gary Angell. He is survived by: his close friends, Ted and Marie Grady; his daughter Sherry Peterson; and his grandson Curtis Angell.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401).
