He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kirschbaum and Rosa Kirschbaum (Jilek); his significant other Carrie Dale Kirschbaum; his siblings, Ronnie Jilek, Leroy "Joe" Kirschbaum, Michael "Micky" Kirschbaum and Ottie Smothers; and his great grandchild Isaac Alan Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Hansen (Don), Tami Gerdom (Denny), Kim Arndt (Mike) and Mike Kirschbaum (Mary Kaye); and his grandchildren, Ryan Hansen (Traci), Scott Hansen (Bria), Jennifer Hansen (Shanda), Katherine Walker, Sunni Lensing (Jim), Ashley Trousdale (Ryan), Lauren Anderson (Jeff), Christopher Bourbon (Steven), Travis Arndt (Jordan), Dylan Arndt, Amanda Dannen (Josh) and Alex Kirschbaum (Taylor). He is also survived by twenty five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith United Church of Rockwell Rockwell, IA (303 Monroe St, Rockwell, IA 50469).
