Gary will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Jennifer Alexander (Todd) and Sarah Spalla (Matt Norfleet); his grandchildren, Leila Alexander and Deegan Alexander; and his siblings, Tom Spalla (Nancy) and Karen Gustafson (Tracey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Community Center (10 N LakeView Dr, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
In lieu of flowers or donations, come tell a story or two and raise a cold beer in honor of Spatch.
