She was predeceased by: her husband Harlan Johnson; her son Curt Johnson; her parents, James Ransom and Mildred Ransom; and her brother James Ransom.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Johnson (Katherine), Doug Johnson and Cathy Clark (Jim); and her brother Ross Ransom. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
