He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Bachman; his children, Steven Stokesbary (Kim), Sandra Schupanitz (Brent) and Stacie Stokesbary; his grandchildren, Abbigayle Kay (Jason), Andrew Harrison, Samantha Schupanitz, Maggie Harrison, Isabel Stokesbary, Benjamin Stokesbary (Vivian), Ashlynn Howey and Braeden Howey; his great grandchild Eloise Kay; his sisters, Janice Janssen (Marvin) and Julie Renner (William); and his in-law Ronald Bachman (Janice).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
