It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Kunz of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on October 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Kunz and Iola Kunz (Stiener); his wife Sally Goodman; his in-laws, Vince and Rita Goodman; his siblings, Jack Kunz (Margaret), Robert Kunz (Lorraine) and Joanne Daily; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Hanninen and Joseph Goodman (Gladys).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Kunz (Laurie Mills) of Mason City, Sue Knudson (Brett) of Florence, AZ, Scott Kunz (Natalie) of Danbury, WI, Sandy Karan (Nick) of Danbury, WI and Stacy Dams (Jason) of Walford, IA; his grandchildren, Amanda Kunz, Derek Kunz (Audrey), Muriel Knudson, Kenny Kunz (Lexi), Kris Kunz (Danielle), Alex Karan (Maddie), Will Karan, Sydney Dams and Payton Dams; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Knudson, Brittany Knudson, Josh Mills, Jake Mills and Kayla Calaway; his great grandchildren, Tamara, Tiana, Kamden, Ella, QuinnLeigh, Scottlyn, Joie and Wyatt; and his brother-in-law Bill Hanninen.
Jerry has requested that any memorial contributions be made to St. Croix Hospice.
