He was predeceased by : his parents, Lillian Blum and Steven Blum; his stepdaughter Susanne; and his siblings, Lois and Stephen.
He is survived by : his wife Joan; his daughters, Deborah Best (John) and Lori Smith (Kenneth); his stepdaughters, Yvonne Dundee (Lane) and Ellen Hill (Thomas); and his siblings, Lillian Reynolds and Richard Blum (Karen). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
