He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Groen and Madelon Groen (Beekman); his daughter Sandy Lynn Groen; and his great grandchild Olivia Gladney. He is survived by: his wife Linda Groen of Mason City, IA; his children, Steve Groen (Robyn) of LaJolla, CA and Suzette (Chris) of Mason City, IA; his granddaughters, Samantha Gladney (Michael) of Blue Springs, MO and Carly Carrier (Scott) of Mason City, IA; his great grandchildren, Uriah, Carter, Sophia and Cooper; and his siblings, Darrell Groen (Juanita) of Waverly, IA and Karla Croll (Bruce) of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nashua Town & Country Club.
