Lowell LeRoy Solberg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell LeRoy Solberg (Mason City, Iowa), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Solberg and Helen Solberg (Brones); his son Wayne Allen; and his granddaughter Laura Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Marjory Judd (DeDe); his sons, David (Diane), Mark (Tammy), Larry (Nancy) and Darwin (Monica); his grandchildren, Kristin DeMott (Matt), Brandon Solberg (Mariah), Blake Solberg (Jenna), Megan McKenna (Will), Jenny Hartnett (Kevin), Dena Wilson (Troy), Mitchell, Dylan and Michael; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Ellis, Nora, Owen, Ava Belle, Gunnar, Miles, Maddy and Grace; and his sisters, Patty Fisk (Jon) and Dianne Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (246 S Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a Forest City Educational Foundation scholarship fund in memorial of Lowell & Marge Solberg. Donations may be directed to the above address.
