She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Zuke and Augusta Zuke (Sachen); her husband Gerald "Jerry" Thompson; and her nephew Steve Miles. She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond Zuke (Martha) of Mason City, Carol Wihlm (Bernie) of Faribault Minnesota, Peggy Tasy of Mason City, Susan Smith (Tracy) of Mason City and Sister Diane Solum of Mason City; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Young of Garner and Sharon DeMaris of Mason City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (1405 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (11495 265th St, Mason City, IA 50401).
