He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Woolery (Anderson) and William, Sr. Woolery; his wife Mattie Woolery; his grandparents, Leonard and Anita LaFrance; his siblings, William Woolery, Jr., Thomas Woolery, Ronald Woolery and Robert Woolery; and his aunts and uncles, Nora, Carl Ross, Dee McCaleb, Charles LaFrance and PeeWee Terrell.
He is survived by: his children, Landis Woolery-Coleman (Sandy) and Carmen Woolery (Ray); his grandchild Dominique Woods (Nick); his great grandchildren, Caius and Kendrick Woods; his grandchildren, Xavier Senger and Aubury Green (Michael); his great grandchildren, Michael, Jr. and Mina; his grandchild Zabrian Coleman (JNae); his great grandchildren, Zuelz, Zuicé and Xi'Naija; his grandchild Drew Davis; his great grandchild Jem; and his siblings, Veronica Richmond (Willie), Barbara Brown (Reed), Wallace Woolery, Linda Woolery, Judy Johnson (Greg), Charles Woolery (Lisa) and Ernest Woolery. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel (126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
