She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Harrington and Loudel Harrington (Cheney); her husbands, Art Asche and Paul Lau; her stepdaughter Marian Scott; her grandson Michael Hayunga; her brothers, Bill and Larry Harrington; and her sister-in-law Gale Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Asche (Karen) of Andover, MN, Peggy Matous of Mason City, Carol Hayunga (Byron) of Montevideo, MN and Dawn Hensley (Stephen) of Mason City; her stepchildren, Graydon Lau (Sally), Janelle Renner (Tom), Dennis Lau (Michelle) and Mark Lau; her stepson-in-law Dave Scott; her sisters, Shirley Portis and Deb Schmidt (Roger); and her sister-in-law Marilyn Harrington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren, 31 step grandchildren; many step great grandchildren; several great-great step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Major Erickson Funeral Home (111 N Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rolling Acres Christian Reformed Church (341 19th St SW, Mason City, IA 50401).
