He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles H. Haberkorn and Freda O. Haberkorn (Galloway); his daughter-in-law Marsha Haberkorn; his siblings, Betty Anderson (Barney) and Clayton Haberkorn (Betty); and his grandson Patrick.

He is survived by : his wife Bonnie Lou Thornbury; his children, Dennis Haberkorn of Boulder City, NV, Becky Person (James) of Clear Lake and Kristi Serba (Jeff) of Burnsville, MN; his grandchildren, Shawn Person, Sarah Hansen, Abby Arthur, Katelyn Hilton, Sarah Suter, Brent Haberkorn, Chad Serba and Chelsi Serba; and his brothers, Dean Haberkorn and Lloyd Haberkorn (Jan). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; many cherished nieces and nephews.
