With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Lee McAfee of Mason City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 5, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McAfee and Shirley McAfee; and his brother Warren Jay McAfee. He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Nesje (Richard), Gary McAfee (Virginia), Alan McAfee (Lorita) and Larry McAfee (Andrea). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel (126 3rd St NE, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
