He was predeceased by : his father Thomas D. Casey; and his sister Maureen Rasmussen. He is survived by : his mother Donna Casey (Angus) of Massena; his wife Kris Casey of Massena; his daughters, Maureen Deal (Jacob) of Massena and Molly Casey of Massena; his siblings, Mike Casey (Sheryl) of Lowell, Rob Casey (Barb VanHorn) of West Union, Iowa and Eileen Ver Woert (Jim) of Adel, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Kevin Rasmussen (Jean) of Glidden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the Jim Casey Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
