She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Elias; her children, Jeanne Dickson (Bear), John Visser (Linda), Tom Visser (Lor), Sharie Mahlfeldt (late Kurt), Judy Ardon (Jim), Joan Aardsma (Harold), Cindy Laporte (Bernie) and Linda Dykstra (Darin); her grandchildren, David Dickson, Jonathan Dickson (Sarah), Josh Visser (Shawn), Julie Droog (Dan), Ben Visser (Meghan), Tim Hillegonds (Erin), Heidi Wenzel (Jon), Aaron Visser (Lauren), Jill Kuyvenhoven (Ryan), Amanda Flores (Marcos), Nick Boerema, Chris Boerema (Adriana), Troy Ardon, Grant Ardon (Kelly), Sarah, Meghan, Matt Aardsma, Dan Laporte, Eli Dykstra (Anna) and Micah Dykstra (Jayden); and her siblings-in-law, Mae Hoeksema (Visser), Jay, Jessie Dorn (Visser), Don, Marge Visser, Nick, Clara Koster (Visser), Louie, Gert Dykstra (Visser), Marty and Martha Frieling (Visser). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mercy Ships.
