James Richard Newton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2023, at the age of 78, James Richard Newton of Maxwell, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John "Edward" Newton and Alice Newton (Beckner); his wife Carol Griffin of Maxwell; his children, Dan Newton (Darlene), Rusty Newton (Ashley) and Mandy Wierson (Chris); his grandchildren, Jessica Hall (Jake), John Newton, Janelle Newton, Laney Newton, Riley, Maci Lohmueller, Josie, Kenzi, Chloe and Cooper Wierson; his great grandchild Evan Hall; his sisters, Mary Adams and Marie Van Roekel (Al); and his sister-in-law Wanda Records.
