It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Margaret Kresse (Maxwell, Iowa), who passed away on February 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Benjamin True and Minerva True (Cross); her husband Joe Kresse; and her children, Sarah Behrens (Gene) of Des Moines, Marion (Jean) of Ames, Mary Hoelscher Dubuque (Tom), Joe (Olga) of Bloomington, MN, Charles (Donna) of Lemont, IL, Robert (Cyndi) of Eagan, MN, Marie (Dave Elliott) of Des Moines, Patricia Cassady (Simon "Cap") of Des Moines, Theresa of Des Moines, Ben (Candace) of Louisville, KY and Helen (Bill Langebartels) of Des Moines. She was also cherished by 30 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and her great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Nevada, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elkhart or the Maxwell Area Community Center.
