He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee and Tamra Joy Green (Bukatz-Schlitter); and his brother Eric "Ty" Green. He is survived by: his wife Erika Green of Maynard; his children, Sydnie Peterson (Jason) of Arlington, Lucas Cavanaugh (Kalynn) of Oelwein, Ivy Green (Preston Huinker) of Oelwein, Leah Bird (Jared) of Aurora and Noah Green (Brenda Gonzalez) of Lake Elsinore, California; his grandchildren, Morgan Peterson, Madalyn Peterson, Everly Bird, Talia Bird, Charlee Cavanaugh and Sebastian Huinker; his sister Colette Doss (Clay) of Jasper; and his aunt Gwen Buege of Waterloo.
