With solemn reverence, we commemorate Karen Carsten of McCausland, Iowa, whose life came to an end on June 23, 2025 at the age of 54, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Jo and Sandra Jo (DePover); and her brother Bradley Russell. She is survived by: her husband Brian Carsten; her daughter Karen; her pet Madam Scarlett; her children, Kyle Carsten (Audrey), Kayelynn Carsten (Mat Garrison) and Jayce Bradley Carsten; her sister Trisha Lusso (John); her niece Emily Lusso; and her parents-in-law, Nannette Carsten-Davis (Larry) and Terry Carsten.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to K-9 Kindness Rescue, Inc or the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
