He is survived by: his wife Beverly Smith; his children, Owen Smith and Joan Heinzerling (Bill); his grandsons, Christopher Heinzerling (Allison) and Nathan Heinzerling (Bethany); his son Kenny Smith (Judy); his granddaughter Melody Smith; his daughter Julie Siemonsma (Jerry); his granddaughter Elizabeth Cody (Jay); his daughter Rita DeGroot (Daniel); his grandchildren, Anna, Xavier and Meredith DeGroot; his stepgrandchildren, Greg Horning (Liz), Heather Warburton (Cory), Daniel Horning (Hannah) and Nick Lewis; his great grandchildren, Maya, Julian, Kaedyn, McKynlee, Daelynn and Rhayna; and his great great grandchild Wyatt.
