Maurice Ford Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maurice Ford of Mechanicsville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maurice Ford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey "Ralph" Ford and Edith Ford (Langley); his son Michael Ford; and his brothers, Marvin and William Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Janet White; and his children, Julie Paintin, Laurie Jewell (Tom), Linda Beck (Larry), Jody Montz (Brent) and Mary Ann Clark (Jeff). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at 715 10th Ave SW, Mt Vernon, IA 52314. A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mechanicsville Fire Department or the American Legion Post 309, in Mechanicsville.
