It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dale Elmer Edmonds of Mediapolis, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Elmer" Edmonds and Etta Marie Edmonds (Moehle); his wife JoAnn Quell; and his grandson Michael Milder. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Edmonds (Julie) of Mediapolis, Alan Edmonds (Jolene) of Mediapolis and Cindy Milder (Keith) of Columbus Junction; his grandchildren, Audrea Edmonds, Allison Ruth (Levi), Amanda Jenkins (Jake), Abby Edmonds, Alex Edmonds, David Milder (Andi), Christine Awe (Travis), Sarah Conley (Brad), Sawyer Edmonds and Wyatt Edmonds; his great grandchildren, Caleb McCuen, Elijah Jenkins, Harper Jenkins, Emersyn Ruth, Addison Conley and James Conley; and his sister Evelyn Boedeker (Mary Ann Walljasper) of Fredericksburg.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home - Mediapolis (712 Main St, Mediapolis, IA 52637). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mediapolis Global Methodist Church (601 North St, Mediapolis, IA 52637).
