She was predeceased by: her parents, Jodie Pierce and Lena Bangert Thrasher; her husband Tom; and her brother Stanley. She is survived by: her children, Deb of Forest City, IA, Steve (Toni) of Mediapolis and Brad (Leslie) of Pleasant Grove, IA.; her grandchildren, Rose, Drake (Allison), Sarah (Matt), Abby, Katie (Bryan), Sam and Allie; her great grandchildren, Elsie (Drake) and Joe (Katie); and her sister Sue Hull of Quincy, IL..
In lieu of flowers, Laura had requested any memorials be sent to the Mediapolis Ambulance Service.
