It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosanna Nye of Mediapolis, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosanna Nye to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Duane and Dorothy Jean Guinn (Weir); her son Clifford Nye; and her sister Martha Oeltjenbruns (Baby Boy Guinn). She is survived by: her husband Gerald Grant Nye of Mediapolis; her children, Michelle Vradenburg (Kenneth) of Mediapolis and Chris Nye (Shannon Housman) of Burlington; her grandsons, Micheal Biddenstadt (Samantha), Matthew Nye (Jasmine) of Keokuk and Cody Vradenburg of Mediapolis; and her siblings, Richard Guinn (Adel) of Wisconsin, Mark Guinn of Sanborn, Rebecca Baerg (Jim) of Mountain Lake, Roberta Anderson (Gary) of Lakefield, Melinda Johnson (Darryl Oeltjenbruns) of Butterfield, Randy Guinn (Jessica) of Victorville, Angela Allen (Dave Windgate) of Spencer and Clara Guinn (Marty Ring) of Darfur. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral Home - Mediapolis (712 Main St, Mediapolis, IA 52637).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Rosanna.
