He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dale and Ella Helen Lanning (Clausen); and his siblings, Nile Lanning and Roger Lanning. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Jeff Lanning (Annette) of Melbourne and Jerry Lanning (Laure) of Melbourne; his grandchildren, Julie Lanning, Nicholas Lanning and Megan Benzing (Josh); his great grandchild Jace Cross; and his siblings, Vivian Gagen and Terry Lanning.
