He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Zahnd and Janet Tiger; his nephew Danny Zahnd; and his great-nephew Ethan Zahnd. He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Zahnd (Haley) of North Carolina, Savannah Zahnd of Melbourne, Josilyn Zahnd of State Center, IA. and Lilian Zahnd of State Center, IA.; his grandchildren, Dakota Zahnd, Harper Zahnd, William Gutierrez Cantu and Adalyn Nava Zahnd; and his siblings, Debra Creason of Waterloo, Charles Zahnd of Des Moines and Kenneth Zahnd (Penny) of Marshalltown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
