He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert Baker and Ruth Baker (Carlson); and his siblings, Eunice Ethel, Howard Baker and Ruth McCool.

He is survived by : his wife Martha Baker; his children, David A. Baker of DuPont, WA, Janet S. Wilson (Bill) of Clutier, IA and Kenneth W. Baker (Ellen) of Marshalltown, IA; his grandchildren, Laura Dhyne (Joe), Laura Wilson, Lindsay McFarlane (Josh), Daniel Baker (Breanna), Douglas Baker (Courtney Schexnaydre) and Alisa Lynn Baker (Toby Thepsoumphone); and his great grandchildren, Mason, Brandon, Jaden, Kael, Joseph, Emily, Kaleb, Nora and Clara.
