Loris Whittington Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 87, Loris Whittington of Melcher-Dallas, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Conlow and Edith Conlow; her husband Curt Whittington; her brother Jim Conlow; and her pet Tasha.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Brown (Marvin) and Mark Avilla; her grandchildren, Eric Brown (Alisha), Ashley Avilla, Brandon Brown, Keri Emerick (Josh) and Ashley Cardona (John); her great grandchildren, Landon, Jack, Alexander, Karson, Alic, Mya, Izabella, Gabriel, Kaylynn, Raegan and Rylie; her stepbrother Gary Scott; and her pets, Sugar and Shadow. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Melcher (203 E Center St, Melcher-Dallas, IA 50163).
