He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Navin and Lucille Navin; his siblings, Patrick, Paul, Jack Navin, Mary Lou and Joan; his grandchildren, Chelsey and Weston; and his brothers-in-law, Jack (Joy Currie) and Ken (Jeanette Currie).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Currie of Melrose; his sons, David Navin (Diane) of Des Moines, Randy Navin (Lorraine) of Martinsdale and Dennis Navin (Sara) of Des Moines; and his sisters-in-law, Marge, Barb and Anna Navin. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
He lived his faith every day, his actions reflecting the teachings of humility, charity, and love.
