He was predeceased by: his parents, Darold Vote of Farnhamville and LaVera Vote (Biskeborn); his former wife Charlene; his daughter Natalie Carter; and his grandson Jacob Comegys.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Vote of Melrose, Iowa; his daughters, Valerie (Randy Castle) and Melanie Vote (Julien Gardair); his stepdaughter Kim (Hoss McKay); and his grandson Jeffery Comegys of Oregon. He is also survived by several granddaughters and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Centerville (501 N 18th St, Centerville, IA 52544). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
