She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustaf "Elmer" Wester and Mabel Wester (Anderson); her husband Larry Dean Johnson; her father-in-law Elmer Johnson (Rebecca "Pearl"); and her siblings, Burton Lundell (Eleanor), Roy Wester (Elsie), Vernon Wester (Ruby), Dale Wester (Patricia), Robert Mortenson, Merle Wester and Karl Kludas.

She is survived by: her sons, Kendall Johnson (Melody) of Grimes, Iowa, Kevin Johnson (Joy) of Ankeny, Iowa, Kerwin Johnson (Kelly) of Bonifay and Kenric Johnson (Brenda) of Alta, Iowa..
