He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Sherlock; his siblings, Diane Sherlock and Robert'Bob'Sherlock; and his grandparents, Julius, Anna Sherlock, Herman Bauler, Margaret and Richard VanVoorst.
He is survived by: his mother Zelda Sherlock (Bauler) of Merrill, IA; his children, Collin Sherlock of Ten Sleep, WY and Keeley Sherlock of Le Mars, IA; his grandchildren, Avery and Millie; and his siblings, Steve Sherlock (Kim) of Le Mars, IA, Deb Olson (Randy) of Le Mars, IA, Gene Sherlock of Merrill, IA, Judy Schoen (Dwayne Jongma) of Merrill, IA and Roger Sherlock (Brenda) of Hinton, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rexwinkel Funeral Home - Le Mars (107 12th St SE, Le Mars, IA 51031). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Parish - St. Joseph (605 Plymouth St NE, Le Mars, IA 51031).
