He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hoehnle and Helene Hoehnle (Hergert); and his wife Barbara Selzer. He is survived by: his sons, Peter Hoehnle (Elly) and Sam Hoehnle (Justin Deal); his granddaughter Rose Hoehnle; and his brother Jack Hoehnle. He is also survived by two step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for the Amana Church.
