Lillian Krauss Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Krauss (Middle Amana, Iowa), who passed away on February 6, 2026 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillian Krauss to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Dickel and Elizabeth Dickel (Schaedlich); her husbands, Leonard Haldy and Marvin Krauss; her grandson Joshua Wiebold; her brother Norman Dickel; and her brother-in-law Dave Kozishek.

She is survived by: her children, Lanny Haldy (Andrea) of Middle Amana, Lyle Haldy (Vickie) of Solon and Leah Watkins (Alan) of North English; her stepchildren, Steve Krauss (Jane) of Amana and Ingrid Schulte (Digger) of East Amana; her sister Doris Kozishek of Williamsburg; and her sister-in-law Julana Dickel of Middle Amana. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for the Amana Church, Amana Heritage Society and Colonial Manor of Amana.
