She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman O. Leichsenring and Lina M. Leichsenring; and her husband Ray B. Rettig of Middle Amana, Iowa.. She is survived by: her children, Rita Pettigrew of Homestead, Florida and Rick Rettig of Ephrata, Washington. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
