He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Tarr and Coyla Mae Tarr (Head); and his stepmother Bessie Tarr. He is survived by: his wife Susan; and his children, Julie Anne Tarr and Robert F. Tarr, Jr.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hachmann-Mier Funeral Home & Cremation Service (100 N 6th St, Bellevue, IA 52031). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Robert's memory.
