He is survived by: his wife Laurie Langel of Milford, Iowa; his daughters, Nicole Dennis (Brandon) of Des Moines, Iowa and Taylor Langel of Brookings; his grandson Oliver Dennis; and his brothers, Keith Langel (Lynell) of Milford and Paul Soyer (Kelli) of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by many stepbrothers and stepsisters; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
