He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Carpenter and Margaret Carpenter (Erbs); his brother Dan Carpenter; and his son-in-law Ben Herbert. He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Carpenter (Auggie) and Bobbi Carpenter; his grandchildren, Xavier, Caleb, Gabrielle, Madison, Charlie, Elijah, Justin and Alexis; his sisters, Cindy Krause, Cheryl Winterhof (Delbert) and Fran Carpenter; and his nephew Josh Carpenter. He is also survived by friends, including his special bar friends.
