He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Anderson and Wilma Anderson; his sister Bev Schumann; his brothers-in-law, Bob Esser, Hal Severson and Arv Schumann; his niece Vicki Weaver; his sister-in-law Rose Esser; and his in-laws, Henry and Eunice Esser.
He is survived by : his wife Colleen Esser; his children, Chris Sporrer (Rick) of Nevada, Marty Anderson (Treva) of Milford, Susan Johnson (Bill) of Ankeny and Nancy Eveland (Brian) of Osage Beach, Missouri; his grandchildren, Danielle Goodnight (Austin) of Bondurant, Kate Johnson of Kansas City, Clara Sporrer of Denver, Trinity Anderson of Jackson, Luke Eveland of Osage Beach, Erica Sporrer of Pella, Lizzy Johnson of Kansas City, Taylor, Tayln Anderson of Spirit Lake and Emily Eveland of Osage Beach, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Marshall and Nova Goodnight of Bondurant, Iowa.; his sister Lois Severson of Gladstone; and his siblings-in-law, Ron and Dorothy Esser of Marceline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
