He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Muhlbauer and Alma Muhlbauer (Berens); his son Steve; his great grandchild Bradley Cassavant; and his sisters, Rita Gehling and Judy Benson (Gordy).
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Dan (Cheryl), Julie Fairchild (Tim) of Milford, Becky Hyatt (Aaron) of Milford, Nancy Farmer (Gary) of Ames and Amy Miller (Jason) of Omaha; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Muhlbauer and Helen Muhlbauer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Arnolds Park Public Library at 62 Hwy 71, Unit 1 Arnolds Park, IA 51331.
