We announce the death of Doyle Lee Schrader of Milo, Iowa, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 81. Doyle will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Schrader and Savilla D. Schrader (Herold); his grandson Cody Potterfield; and his brother-in-law Edgar Borchert. He is survived by: his wife Donna Schrader; his children, Diana Peterson (Mike), Denise Potterfield (Tim) and Denny Schrader (Marnie); his grandchildren, Chelsea Peterson, Garrett Peterson (Jackie), Austin Potterfield and Nicole Potterfield (Ian); his children, Madeline Blauvelt (Drew), Caroline Schrader, Holden Schrader and Gavin Schrader; his great grandchild Rose Potterfield; and his sisters, Marlene Borchert and Beverly Menefee (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Milo (201 Walnut St, Milo, IA 50166). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (814 W Pleasant St, Knoxville, IA 50138).
