Matt leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Matt’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Matt will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Lawrence Leach and Lauretta Bardwell Leach; and his sister Alenda Norton. He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his children, David Leach, Debbie Henderson (Gordon), Michelle Voshell (Verne), Kathy Starr (Jack) and Michael Leach (Adele). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Milo United Methodist Church (300 Spruce St, Milo, IA 50166). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Milo United Methodist Church.
