He is survived by: his children, Mark Norton (Dee) of Marshalltown and Darla Hargis (Alan) of Ottumwa, Iowa; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Drew), Rachel and Mason Kaylie (Lilly); his great grandchildren, Alex, Ana, Mavlyn and Maizen; his sisters-in-law, Gwenlyn Foster, Evelyn Wells, Shirley Schmidt and Dorothy Jessen; and his close friend Linda Kinnamon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
