It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann E. Blusys (Missouri Valley, Iowa), born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Hartnett and Edna Hartnett (Capesius); her siblings, Charles Hartnett Jr., Patricia Hartnett and George Hartnett; and her former life partner Harry Blusys.

She is survived by : her children, David Blusys (Kerry), Christine Fiedler (Phillip) and Joseph Blusys (Megan); and her grandchildren, Elena Einspahr (Darin), Grace Blusys, Nathan Blusys, Patrick Fiedler and Caroline Fiedler (Austin Garcia).

After working for some time as a paralegal, Ann worked at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley, IA where she also volunteered her time and donated plants to fix up the courtyard at St. Patrick's. Ann's last job was working to care for the elderly at a nursing home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
