She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Biersdorf and Jack Biersdorf; her husband Jim Hay; her daughter Candy Deel; her brothers, John, Marion Biersdorf and Dick; her brothers-in-law, David Hay and Tom Hay; and her nephew Dan Biersdorf.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Hay-Magdaleno (Johnny Magdaleno), Kathy Hay (Bob Joachim) and Nancy Hanna (Jeff); her son-in-law Kenny Deel; her daughter Lori DeBoer (Steve); her grandchildren, Matt Joachim, Doug Joachim, Sarah Anderson (Nathan), John Magdaleno, Cordell Pace, Celeste Hayworth (Joe), Jordan Howe (Michael), Jessica Murphy (Armando Lopez), Kyle Hanna (Dana), Kurtis Hanna (Kate), Leea Rogers and Dylan McClellan; her great grandchildren, Finn, Fletcher Anderson, AJ, Landyn Hayworth, Sam, Gehrig, Jay Hanna, Amelia, Violet, Ivory Howe, Oliver, Simon Murphy, Orion, Aaro Rogers and Coen McClellan; and her sisters-in-law, Louise Hay and Mary Lou Hay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Mitchellville Community Center (120 2nd St NE, Mitchellville, IA 50169). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
