He is survived by: his children, Roy Jacobs (Gloria), Ray Jacobs (Connie) and Valerie Johnson; his daughter-in-law Laura Jacobs; his grandchildren, Jonathon (Elizabeth), Nicole (Dan), Lucas, Taylor (Austin), Elijah (Jessi), Emilea, Keegan, Kale, Courtney (Carter), Kaleigh and Dakota; his great grandchildren, Madilynn, Braelin, Logan, Declan, Arlo, Charlie, Magnolia, Millie, Hollis, Judah, Vera, Skylan, Kay and Jonah; his brother Jerry Jacobs (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Linda Jacobs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens (121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50313). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mitchellville Cemetery (402A 6th St NE, Mitchellville, IA 50169).
