With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D Abbott (Mondamin, Iowa), born in South Sioux City, Nebraska, who passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Abbott and Cora Belle Abbott (Evans); his stepmother Opal; and his brothers, William, Wayne and Ronnie Ray (late Virginia).
He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Lawrence and Charlotte Wirsching; his children, Ronald, Alex, Roxzanne Feagan, Jay and Jim Abbott; and his friend Mondamin. He is also survived by four grandchildren from his second marriage, plus many nieces and nephews and their kids.
